There is no disputing this because we have proof.

Not just a little bit of proof, a whopping Alton Towers new big scary ride type of sized proof.  The fabulous PURE FM , the countries leading community radio service, have been running a round by round, head to head weekly heat featuring all the areas best bands. The public, who are a bit short of things to vote on since the conclusion of X factor and ‘celebrity’ have been voting furiously in the bucket load.

AND DAYSTAR WON.

Not only that they got a staggering 6000 votes out of the 10,000 placed.

Thankyou to all the people who took the time to vote, it really is appreciated. Given that Stockport has the finest musical talent on offer in the UK it probably means Daystar are the finest band in a lot of other towns too.

We at Stone Soup , a Cheshire based independent record label, are currently building a new web site which will be up and running in the next few weeks. We are the home (actually, freezing cold garage to be precise) of Manchester’s premier indie guitar band DAYSTAR, and seeing as 2012 is going to be a busy year, it is increasingly apparent having a crap web site we knocked out in two minutes on ripped off software a few years back just won’t wash anymore now that people’s ears are pricking up ….and we now also have a truly excellent investor’s interest to protect. We’re just more interested in the music than the website side of things to be honest  - but we can change, please don’t leave us, we can change. There are also a few people who have fallen out with us since we made the first site and to be frank they needed deleting off our system as well as from our lives.
